Farshad Shirvani MSc. Geol.

Position: Chief Executive Officer and President

Mr. Shirvani has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in geology from the Shiraz University in Shiraz, Iran, and has more than 27 years of solid geological experience in mineral exploration in Canada. Mr. Shirvani is the President of Terracad Geoscience Services Ltd. and served as a member of the Board of Directors of several Junior Mining Companies including Gold Producer Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. (BGM-TSXV) for more than 7 years. Mr. Shirvani brings a wealth of experience in mining property acquisition, exploration, and development to Doubleview. His strong management skills, hands-on approach, and resilience have been instrumental in leading Doubleview since its inception.

Andrew Rees, B.Com.

Position: Lead Director, Communications and Lead Director

Mr. Rees, B.Comm. has over 20 years experience working with oil and gas and mining companies, and has raised over $100 million in the public markets. In executive management roles, Mr. Rees has taken projects from discovery to commercial production. Mr. Rees currently serves as a director of a number of publicly traded resource companies. Mr. Rees holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Royal Roads University (British Columbia).

Jaime Rainbird

Position: Lead Director

Mr. Rainbird holds Economics Degree from Laurentian University.

Mr. Rainbird has worked in various roles in both Economics Development and Legal Services in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent since 2013 and since 2019 he began his current role of Manager Economic Development Services where he manages the department’s Economic Development Officers, Small Business Centre and Digital Mainstreet Service Squad.
Together with the department’s Director, he is the point person for Foreign Direct Investment, which includes the marketing, negotiation and sale of municipally-owned land and assisting with the development of privately-owned real estate as well as assisting with the growth and expansion of existing industrial and commercial firms.
